A Celebration

Two beautiful people will soon tie the knot,
so a celebration for Adrienne and Scott.
We serve barbecue and beer in a poolside setting,
then next year we journey to a tropical wedding.
What better way to spend a warm night on the coast,
than at a party that friends and family host.
In a quiet moment of reflection I would like to say, Cheers,
and extend many blessings as I hold back the tears.
May love be in all the steps you take,
on the path you walk together,
and the decisions you'll make.
Fulfill your dreams, laugh, and never
lose touch,
and tell each other often, "I love you so much"
Let the wedding countdown begin tonight,
among all this good company, and neath the moonlight.
Happy Engagement! You both mean the world to me.
Destined to be one,
endless tomorrows, may you see.
